I was expecting to be without mains water for several days by this time, but Ian answered my call promptly and arranged to come round first thing the next day - Saturday. He fixed the leak with a minimum of fuss and mess, despite having to break into the wall and re-arrange the wooden wall supports to get at the pipe.
Ian also fixed a couple of small non-urgent problems for me whilst there. He was with me for two and a half hours. He was helpful, tidied up after himself and his charges were refreshingly reasonable. Ian to me is a plumber as they should be, and I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending him to others.”

“ I used to have British Gas Home Care at a cost of £332.20 per year, I had a problem with the over flow pumping out hot water so I called them out. It did not take long to diagnose the problem - 'blocked pipes and your system needs to be power flushed and sorry but you are not covered for that if you read your policy', so he gave me a quote for £750.00 and 'I will see when we can do it'. No thanks.
I called IGM for a quote, Ian came the next day and he agreed the system needed a power flush but there was no need to replace the blocked pipes. 'I will drain the system, cut the blocked pipe out, clear them and then replace the pipe - total cost £475.00 and I will do it the following day'.
My central heating has never worked so well - many thanks to Ian for a clean and tidy job.”
