"I called Rebecca in 2008 to ask if she would make my wedding dress for me and to also make my daughter's bridesmaid dress for May 2009. There was a particular theme I wanted following on from the design of my engagement ring. I had chosen a pre-raphaelite design, so therefore wanted a romantic, yet not traditional, dress designed and made. I asked for a dress to be made of two coloured silks, which was advised by Rebecca, and that it be a full length dress, which was flattering and boned inside. The dress, and a bolero jacket to flatter and frame, was beautifully hand sewn with crystals and sequins, all materials of which were purchased by Rebecca and I on a trip to London one afternoon. That was a very memorable day. Rebecca knows exactly where to get the right materials of the highest quality to suit all budgets . It was a very exciting and pleasant experience throughout all the months up to the wedding. Amazingly Rebecca managed to do all this and make her own wedding dress and everything I can think of for her own wedding just a month after my own! My husband was stunned when he saw the dress. I felt like a million dollars for want of a better expression, but that's how it summed up. Absolutely beautiful. My daughters dress complimented mine and was equally beautifully embroidered in duck egg blue shot silk. Obviously the pictures reflected the time, design and quality of workmanship applied to my dress and bridesmaid dress in my wedding photos. I'm looking forward to having something else made! I just have to find the occasion!"
